Rebounce Terms of Service

Welcome to Rebounce, an online music collaboration and version-control platform for audio creators, producers, and engineers. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Global Noice Tech SL (“Rebounce,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of our platform, services, and related applications (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Rebounce.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up or using Rebounce, you’re agreeing to these rules.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. This agreement is binding on you and any entity you represent.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough and legally able to enter into this agreement.

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction).
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • You may not use the Service if prohibited by applicable laws, including EU export control and sanctions laws.

3. Account Registration & Security

You’re responsible for your account and keeping it secure.

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and restrict access to your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

We charge based on storage and active track limits. Plans can change, and payments are handled securely.

  • Free and paid tiers are available; features and quotas are described on our pricing page.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until canceled.
  • You may upgrade or downgrade at any time; changes take effect immediately, with pro-rata adjustments where applicable.
  • Refunds are only issued where required by law.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or deletion of your account.

5. User Content Rights

You own your music, but you give us permission to host and process it.

  • You retain full ownership of all audio, stems, artwork, metadata, and other materials you upload (“User Content”).
  • You grant Rebounce a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process (e.g generate waveforms), display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
  • You control sharing via workspace and track permissions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your User Content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Uses

Don’t use Rebounce for anything illegal or harmful.

  • No uploading or sharing content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
  • No harassing, abusive, or defamatory content.
  • No malware, spam, or attempts to disrupt the Service.
  • No attempts to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bypass Service restrictions.

7. Privacy & Data Processing

We follow GDPR and other laws to protect your personal data.

  • Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Data is stored on servers located in the EU.
  • Some processing, including AI-generated comment summaries, may occur automatically to enhance functionality.
  • You have rights under GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and portability of your data.

8. File Retention & Deletion

If you delete files or your account, we’ll remove them after a short period, except where required by law.

  • Deleted files are removed from active systems within 30 days, though backups may be retained for up to 90 days.
  • Inactive free-tier accounts may be closed after 12 months of inactivity, with prior notice.

9. Collaboration Permissions

Workspaces are for full members; tracks can be shared with guests.

  • Workspace members can see all artists, tracks, and storage usage in that workspace.
  • Track collaborators only see specific tracks they are invited to and cannot access other workspace content.

10. Intellectual Property

Our brand and software are ours; your content is yours.

  • Rebounce and its associated trademarks, software, designs, and features are owned by Global Noice Tech SL.
  • You may not use our branding without written permission.

11. Service Modifications & Downtime

We may change features or perform maintenance from time to time.

  • We may add, remove, or change features without prior notice.
  • We may schedule maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

12. Termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break the rules.

  • You may cancel your account at any time in your settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Limitation of Liability

We’re not liable for damages beyond what the law requires.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or €50 if you used the free tier.

14. Indemnification

You’re responsible for legal claims related to your content or actions.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rebounce from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

We follow Spanish law, and disputes will be resolved in Spain.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
  • Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably; if not possible, they will be submitted to the competent courts of Alicante, Spain.

16. Changes to Terms

We can update these Terms, and we’ll let you know when we do.

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • We’ll notify you via email or in-app notice before changes take effect.
  • Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
